(Worcester) Stephen Frank Whitney, 59, known as “Mr. Lurch” passed away at Heywood Hospital in Gardner due to respiratory complications on December 20, 2015. He was born on March 5, 1956 at Hahnemann Hospital to Herbert C. and Marion B. (Rugg) Whitney and resided in the family home for the majority of his life. He was a graduate of Worcester Trade as a mechanic and was well respected for the creativity and quality of his repairs, restorations and custom modifications of automobiles and particularly motorcycles. He is survived by his daughter Melisa and granddaughter Chloe. He will be interred at Rural Cemetery at 1100, Friday, June 3, 2016 at his family plot.
