Charles Horace Callahan, 75, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Hospice Atlanta at Emory Heathcare in Atlanta. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Rickey Wells officiating. Mr. Callahan will be laid to rest at Lenox Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 29, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born March 5, 1941 in Lumpkin, Mr. Callahan was the son of the late Clifford Callahan and Doris Hubbard Callahan. He was a professional truck driver.
Mr. Callahan is survived by two sons, Chester Callahan of Barney and Chuck Callahan of Moultrie; a daughter, Janet Welch of Moultrie; one granddaughter, Kayla Callahan; and a special friend and caregiver, Ann Moser of Tifton.
