Obituary

Eugene Yale Clayman, 77, of Franklin died May 25 in Milford Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, April 16, 1939, the son of the late James and Dorothy (Cozly) Clayman, Mr. Clayman was raised and had lived in Franklin for most of his life.

Eugene was a graduate of the Norfolk County Agricultural School in Walpole.

Eugene had been a truck driver for Mobile Excavating of Medway for many years. Previously he had operated a boat in the Gulf of Mexico ferrying workers back and forth to the oil rigs.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, sailing and being near the ocean.

He is survived by his devoted companion Priscilla (Bederian) Sheridan of Franklin.
He is also survived by his children, Laura Fogg of Wilton, New York, Kimberly Dupont of Coventry, Rhode Island and Scott Clayman of Bradenton, Florida.

He is also survived by his sisters Joyce Trembley and Jane Lausch of Baltimore, Maryland.
Eugene is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashlee, Joshua, Kiera, Sean, Kaitlin and Crystal and his great-grandchildren, Landon and Olivia.

His calling hours will be held on Friday, May 27 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin from 6:00-8:00p.m. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Massachusetts DAV, State house Room 546, Boston, MA 02133.
