Judith A. “Judy” Catino (Kucharzyk) of Melrose died at the Bear Hill Nursing Center of Stoneham on Monday morning. She was 73. Raised in Everett she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Constance (Brennan) Kucharzyk. Judy was a fun loving person who was devoted to her family. She worked with her sister as a hairdresser for many years at Medford Square’s Continental Beauty Salon, before her retirement.
She was a devoted mother to Jodi McBride and her husband Sean of Winchester, and Joseph D. Catino of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was a loving sister to Robert Kucharzyk of Rockport, MaryLou DeMattia of Ipswich, Richard Kucharzyk of Georgia, the late John Brennan and James Kucharzyk. She also leaves many dear nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday, May 28th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8 PM.
