Matthew (Matt) J. Donohue, 35, died unexpectedly on the 21st of May at his home in Andover, MA. A lifelong Andover resident, he was the beloved son of William and Maureen (Wescott) Donohue of Andover. Matt was blessed with a close-knit immediate and extended family with whom he enjoyed spending his free time, whether it be debating politics or rooting (loudly) for his New England Patriots. Matt grew up exploring the substantial reservation lands of Andover and spent many happy days fishing and hiking in the area. His other loves included cooking, creative writing, working on his car, and attending many local book sales to support his entrepreneurial on-line used book selling business.
Matt will be remembered most for his love and loyalty to his family. He adored his girlfriend, Jamie, and they were inseparable. A dedicated family man, Matt could always be called on to assist a family member in need and he will be deeply mourned by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Matt is survived by his brother, Timothy Donohue and his wife, Sarah Paterson of Andover, MA; and their children Hannah Paterson and Reinier Donohue; the love of his life, Jamie St. Laurent, of Andover, MA, as well as several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
