William T. Stewart, III, age 28, of Norton, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Wareham, MA on March 28, 1988, he was the beloved son of Vickie J. (Burrell) Cotterill of Norton and William T. Stewart, Jr. and his wife Renee of Brockton.
Bill grew up in Norton and was a graduate of Norton High School. He spent the majority of his working career as a contractor in the construction industry,
He loved spending time with his brothers and sisters, and especially with his niece. Bill enjoyed helping his father coach youngsters in Little League and he will always be remembered with a smile for his fetish for sneakers.
In addition to his beloved parents, he was the dear brother of Erica M. Dincecco of Brockton, Devin W. Cotterill of Norton, Aiden J. Stewart of Brockton, Christopher L. Cotterill of Attleboro and Scott M. Cotterill, Jr. of Norton. He was the cherished grandson of Walter and Maryannette Burrell of West Wareham, Michelle Paully of Brockton and Angela Lerner of Brockton. He was the cherished nephew of Michael Stewart of Kansas and Kim Merritt and her husband David of New Hampshire. He was the adoring uncle of Aubree and the dear cousin of Michael, Kate and Amanda. He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend Sara Trapp of Brockton.
His funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Sunday, May 29th at 4:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be held prior to the services on Sunday, beginning at 2:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home.
