Judith A. (Dupuis) Borden, 56 of Salem, died unexpectedly, Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the NSMC / Salem Hospital with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Henry R. and Julia (Cooper) Dupuis.
Born and raised in Salem, she was raised by her late grandmother, Florence ‘Blanche’ (Lemlin) Dupuis-McCulley, when her mother died at a very young age. She attended Salem High and Salem State College. Over the years, Judy had a varied career, working in several different fields, but she was primarily a stay at home mom.
She is survived by her sons, John S. Borden, Jr. of Peabody, & Justin D. Borden of Salem, her daughters, Jennifer Lee Borden and Julia F. Borden both of Salem, three brothers, Leo S. Dupuis of Salem, Henry R. Dupuis of Danvers, Michael R. Dupuis of Monson and a sister, Denise A. Dupuis-Wells of Salem. She also leaves her former husband John S. Borden, Sr. 5 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many cousins in her large extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem on Thursday, May 26th at 9:00 A.M. to be followed by her funeral mass at Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 10:00 A.M. to be followed by her burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
