Lael I. Jones, age 32, of Berkley, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Saturday, May 21, 2016.
Born in Taunton, MA on February 11, 1984, he was a loving son of Robert R. and Eden V. (Waterfield) Jones of Berkley.
Lael grew up in Berkley and was a 2002 graduate of Bristol Plymouth Regional Vocational High School in Taunton.
He was a self-employed contractor who specialized in the field of carpentry. In addition to living in Berkley, he had also resided in Attleboro and Foxboro.
Lael was a member of the Berkley Congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his son. He enjoyed outdoor activities, which included hiking, fishing and camping.
In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his beloved son Hunter D. Jones. He was the dear brother of Vanessa M. Jones of Berkley and the former husband of Erica Jones. He is also survived by his devoted aunts, uncles and cousins.
His memorial service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited attend, will be held on Saturday, June 4th at 2:00 P.M. at Occasions at Village South, 480 South Street West in Raynham.
A time of refreshments and association with family and friends will be held at the conclusion of the memorial service.
