Sr. Therese Roy, age 89, passed away on May 21, 2016 at the St. Claire Residence of the Presentation of Mary in Methuen, MA. Sr. Therese was born on May 3, 1927 in Biddeford, Maine to the late Zepherin and Frizelda (Cyr) Roy. She graduated from St. Andre High School in Biddeford, Maine and from Rivier University in Nashua, NH.
Sr. Doris is one of thirteen children. She is survived by her brother, Reynold Roy of Hartford, CT, Alfonse Roy of Denver, CO, and Paul Roy of Kennebunk, ME and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the St. Claire Residence of the Presentation of Mary, 209 Lawrence St. Methuen from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 2:30 PM at the Chapel of The Presentation of Mary in Methuen. Interment to follow at the Presentation of Mary Cemetery in Methuen.
