Obituary

Anne-Marie (Beaulieu) Cullum, 73, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 22, 2016, reunited with her cherished son Michael D. Cullum. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, sister, and friend. “Making memories” with her family and friends was a very important part of her life. She traveled to many places in the United States and the Caribbean. Everyone remembers all the fun times at her pool.

Anne will be sadly missed by her husband of 53 years, Donald E. Cullum and leaves behind her two daughters and four grandchildren; Pattie Cullum, her fiancé John Caron, and her children Samantha Cullum, Michaela Cullum-Doyle, Allie Doyle, and Patrick Doyle of Methuen; and Cathie (Cullum) Null, and her husband Michael Null of Lawrence, MA. She also leaves behind her brothers, Philip Beaulieu and his husband, Anthony Francisco; Paul Beaulieu, and wife Marie; her sister Susan Beaulieu, and her husband, Robert Beaulieu. She is pre-deceased by her sister Theresa (Beaulieu) Redden, wife of John Redden and leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Born in Methuen, the daughter of Philip and Lillian (L’Heureux) Beaulieu, Anne-Marie attended St. Anne’s High School and graduated from Tenney High School, class of 1960. Being a wife and mother was so important to her and she volunteered at school functions and organizations. She always had positive words or advice to give. Anne was the matriarch of the family who everyone went to for support. She worked for Brox Industries for 24 years where she retired to travel with her husband.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Anne-Marie’s life by gathering for calling hours at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 4-8 PM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday at 9 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel / St. Theresa Church in Methuen. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.

Anne-Marie had wonderful care and beat cancer twice. She felt that without the help of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA, she would have never beaten cancer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284. You can also make memorial donations to another charity close to her heart, the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Massachusetts, 33 Lyman Street, Suite 205, Westboro, MA 01581, which is helping to find a cure and provide support to two of her grandchildren.
