Palmira (Pedulla) Ricciardelli of Somerville died on Friday, May 20, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington. Born and raised in Grotteria, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Rocco Vincenzo and Maria I. (Panetta) Pedulla. Palmira came to the U.S. in 1961 and settled in Somerville. She was employed as a seamstress for Filene's.
Palmira was the beloved wife of the late Vincenzo Ricciardelli and the cherished sister of Ida Mazzone of Italy, Maria Scarfo and her husband Joseph of Burlington, Olga Calautti and her husband Joseph of Lexington, Eva Iannuzzi of Burlington, Norma Gherlone and her husband Douglas of Manchester, NH, Domenic Pedulla and his wife Kathleen of Tewksbury, and the late Peter Pedulla. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, May 25, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday, May 24, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
