Obituary

Andrew Bodenrader, 41, of Brooklyn, NY, died May 18th in New York.

He was the beloved son of David and Joyce (Chesworth) Bodenrader of Newburyport, MA, and dear brother of Mark of Santa Monica, CA. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and several cousins.

Andrew grew up in North Andover, MA, and graduated from North Andover High School. He received a degree in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College and a master's degree in English and American Literature from New York University.

He was a lecturer and Director of Academic Writing at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. His proudest achievement was the development of the Writing Center at the school.

Andrew will be remembered for his intelligence, adventurous spirit, sense of humor, empathy, curiosity, and outgoing personality.

His passions were many. He loved museums and art galleries, literature, the coast of Maine, hiking and camping, the Red Sox, good food and wine, and exploring every neighborhood of the city of New York. But Andrew's greatest love was for travel. He made countless journeys to the far reaches of the Earth, always planning his next trip when he returned from the last one.
