Delia M. (Gagne) Thomas, 96, of Westport died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was wife of the late Gerald L. Thomas, Sr. Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late Alexis and Rose (Cote') Gagne. Mrs. Thomas was a Communicant of St. George Church, Westport. She was an avid knitter.
Survivors include 4 sons: Robert P. Thomas of Westford, MA, Gerald L. Thomas, Jr. of Salinas, CA, Russell W. Thomas of New Bedford and Michael J. Thomas of ME; 3 daughters: Darleen J. Cink of Kerens, TX, Sheila A. Kenyon of Westport and Linda M. Trahan of Westport; a brother: Alfred Gagne of NJ; 2 sisters: Blanche Sampson of Fall River and Annette Ferland of CT; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was grandmother of the late Wendy Kenyon, sister of the late Leo, Roland, Albert and Raymond Gagne and mother-in-law of the late Thomas Kenyon.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, May 23, 2016 at St. George Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Monday from 8 - 9:30 A.M. at the Potter Funeral Home prior to the Mass.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
