Albert Capeto, of Somerset, passed away on Wednesday May 18, 2016. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Mary (Soares) Capeto, and son of the late John and Guilhermina (Rego) Capeto. Albert was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, an employee for New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad Co. and a pharmacy tech for St. Anne’s Hospital. He was also a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Thomas More Retiree’s, and former member of the parish choir.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his sister-in-law; Lucille Franco, nieces; Patricia (husband Charles) Egender of Edgewood, MD, Kathleen L. (husband Michael) Mello-Nelson of Aurora, CO, Larry Mello Jr. of Edgewood, MD, and Paul Franco. Beloved godchildren; Brian (wife Suzanne) Franco, Jeffrey Franco, Michael, Steven, and David Mello, Christine Franco, great nephews; Timothy and Thomas Franco, great nieces; Anya Phelan and Melanie Cravens. Albert was also the brother of the late Louise C. Mello.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Monday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Thomas More Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours on Sunday from 3-7 P.M.
