Obituary

Vito Joseph Braccio, 73, of Medway, formerly of Needham, passed away, Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Seasons Hospice in Milton. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie (Kourbetsos) Braccio for 49 years.

Born on December 22, 1942 in Boston, MA he was the son of the late Anthony Braccio and Mary (Chirbas) Sheinhite.

Mr. Braccio grew up in Watertown, and was a graduate of Watertown High School. He was a resident of Needham for 35 years before moving to Medway.

Joe was a Hair Stylist and owned and operated the Salon Elegante Hair Salon in Brockton.

Joe was a proud Veteran, serving in 1st battalion 2nd Infantry of the United States Army.

In his spare time he was an avid runner completing over 15 marathons. He cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Anthony Braccio and his wife Victoria of Millis, John Braccio and his wife Sandra of Nashua, NH, and Arthur Braccio and his wife Fabiola of Medway.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Mia, Ava, Brit, Nicolina, Arianna, Dantia, Tahlia, Nick and Kyiana.

He is also survived by his siblings, Louis Sheinhite of Norwood, Dimitra Studenski of Hanson, Robyn Sheinhite of CA, and the late James Braccio.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street, Medway on Tuesday, May 24th from 5:00-8:00PM. Services will be held at a later date.
