Obituary

Rita D. (Harbour) Orcutt, age 84, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham after a brief illness.

Born in Penacook, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Regina (Beauchine) Harbour. Rita was a 1949 graduate of Concord High School. Rita and her late Husband Paul moved to Holliston, MA and then settled in Natick, MA in 1967.

Rita worked for many years as a District Manager for Avon before following her passion and opening Daisy’s Discoveries in Downtown Framingham. She opened her heart to all and volunteered tirelessly with Al-Anon, The Salvation Army, The Natick Senior Center, and Leonard Morse Hospital where she served as President of the Auxiliary. For 20 years, she wrote and produced “Sizzling Seniors” for the Natick Cable station.

Rita is survived by her daughters: Anne-Marie Flavin and her husband Patrick of Grafton, and Barbara Jean Beauchense of Grafton. She is also survived by her grand-children whom she loved so much; Sean, Danielle, and Ryan Flavin: Jared, Shayna, and Desirae Lee; her siblings, Richard Harbour and Ellie, Joan Palisi, and Barbara Gibeau all of New Hampshire, and many nieces and nephews and their Families. She was pre-deceased by one brother, Armond Harbour.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Rita on Thursday, May 26th at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common. A time of visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service. Visitation hours will also be held on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M.

In-Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rita’s name to the Natick Council on Aging, 117 E. Central Street, Natick, MA 01760 or a charity of one’s choice.
