Obituary

Robert R. Willette, born on June 5, 1932 in Rochester, MA. Son of the late Mitchell Willette and the late Alice Baker and her second husband James of Taunton. Bob served in the Navy on the USS Furse 882 during the Korean War. He worked for the town of Weymouth and the Hanover Mall.

Bob leaves the love of his life Maureen (Foster) Willette of Weymouth and his first wife the late Kathryn (Willette) Corridan of Hanson. Bob and Kathryn had four children together and they did an excellent job raising them and are very proud of them today. Beloved father to Anita DeLafontaine and her husband Robert of TN, Cheryl Jacques and her husband Robert of New Bedford, Michele Collins and her late husband Christopher of Rockland, and Richard Willette of VA. Cherished Papa to Sheri, Corey, Matthew, Michael J., Michael C., Kacey, Andrew, Alyssa, and Hunter. He also leaves his three sisters and his four brothers.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Bob on Sunday May 22, 2016 from 2-6 PM at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home Monday morning at 9:30 AM for a celebration of life prior to the Service that will be held in Honor of Bob’s life at the First Baptist Church located at 219 Adams St. in Abington at 10:30 AM. Burial will immediately follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Weymouth. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Bob may be made to My Brother's Keeper, Inc. P.O.
