Warren Walter Gladbach, Sr., age 80, of Hanson died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at All American Living in Hanson, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Patricia (Cerrato) Gladbach for 54 years and the father of Warren “Wally” Gladbach, Jr.
Born in Brockton and raised in Randolph, Warren lived in Hanson for fifty-four years. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and owner of Talermade Exhaust and Restoration Company.
Warren enjoyed antique/classic cars, “Cruise Nights”, antique auto flea markets, and camping. He was a lifetime member of the South Shore Antique Auto Club and a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America, the Cadillac-LaSalle Club, and the Buick Club of America.
In addition to his wife and son, Warren is survived by his sisters-in-law Claire Childs and Barbara Childs and nephew William Cerrato, Jr. Warren was the brother-in-law of the late William H. Cerrato, Sr. and uncle of the late Michael Cerrato.
Warren’s family gives special thanks to the staff at All American Assisted Living for the exceptional care given to him and for the compassion shown to his family.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123), Brockton on Sunday 2-5pm. The procession will gather at the funeral home Monday at 8:45am for a funeral service in Joy in Christ Lutheran Church, 21 South Bedford St., Abington at 10am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery.
