Mark DiBlasio, 42, passed away Tuesday morning, May 17, 2016 at his Amelia Island residence.
Mark was born November 25, 1973 in Aurora, IL and moved to Amelia Island, FL 10 years ago from Chicago, IL. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest, IL and attended College of Lake County, IL and Dayton of Ohio College. Mark was a musician and played guitar since he was six years old. He loved his pets and was a past volunteer at the Humane Society walking dogs. He was a kind and gentle soul and was a caregiver to his father when he become ill and passed away in 2013.
Mark was predeceased by his father, Robert V. DiBlasio and by his brother, Robert S. DiBlasio.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Diblasio of Amelia Island; his aunt, Irene Clough of Framingham, MA and many cousins in Oklahoma.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. , June 16, at the Amelia Island Plantation Chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Nassau Humane Society, 639 Airport Road, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034.
