New Bedford – Louise R. Anacleto, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Royal Taber Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Joaquim J. Anacleto and the longtime companion of the late John B. Lopes.Born in Raynham, Ma, she was the daughter of the late Rosa (Nunes) and Peter Britto.
Louise is survived by her children: Joaquim P. “Cisco” Anacleto and his wife Brenda of Fall River, Juanita Lewis and her husband Fred of Port Orange, Florida, Gerald W. Anacleto of New Bedford, Rose M. Hartsfield and her husband Wallace of New Bedford, Patricia Livramento of Orlando Florida, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, she was the mother of the late Ronald Anacleto and sister of the late Abraham and William Britto.
Her funeral will be Wednesday in the funeral home at 8 A.M. with a funeral Mass at Our Lady of Assumption Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday evening from 5 - 8 P.M. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
