Belmont - Brandon Michael Hamel, 41 was called home by God on Friday, May 13, 2016.
Brandon was born on March 15, 1975 in Laconia, NH to Diane Marie Hamel and Dale William Hamel of Belmont, NH. Brandon was a loyal friend who would often put others before himself. He would give you his last cent or shirt off his back. Brandon had a knack for making up his own lyrics to songs he disliked. He would often have his family in stitches with this "talent". He could also be a bit of a slob, hence his nickname "Oscar" lovingly given by his parents referencing Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street when he was a young boy.
Brandon graduated from Belmont High School in 1994. He worked at Polyclad in Franklin for many years in his earlier life. Brandon had most recently been employed by Hood, of Concord, NH for 11 years.
Brandon will be greatly missed by many. He leaves behind a very loving family who will miss him terribly. Family members include his parents, Dale and Diane Hamel, a beautiful daughter, Jewel Hamel, a sister Bridgett Hartford and her husband Chuck Hartford and his beautiful nieces; Madison, Tatum and Hadley Hartford.
There will be no calling hours or services.
