Wilbert P. (Bill) Cushing Sr. of Abington, 77, passed away Tuesday May 17, 2016 after a lengthy illness.
Bill was the former owner of Pembroke Radiator and was most recently employed by Quirk Auto Auction in Quincy.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn (Carr) Cushing and three sons, Wilbert P. (Sam) Cushing and Wayne P. Cushing of Brockton and Brian C. Cushing Sr. of Abington as well as his grandchildren Brian C. Jr and his wife Nicole of E. Bridgewater, Rebecca Cushing of Brockton and Timothy Cushing of Plymouth. He is also survived by his sister Norma Gilkerson of Florida and his brother-in-law Stanley Denty of Weymouth as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and family are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday May 20th from 4-7 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Route 58 at the rotary) Whitman, MA.
