Virginia L. (Chase) Somersall 88, of Sherborn, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at her home.
She was the beloved wife of Richard Somersall sharing 70 years of marriage.
A resident of Sherborn for 58 years she was born in Plymouth NH the daughter of the late Anthony and Iris (MacLeod) Chase.
Mrs. Somersall formerly worked as a teacher’s aide in the Dover-Sherborn school system for many years.
She enjoyed gardening and many activities in the outdoors and especially cherished the summers spent with family on Newfound Lake, NH.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter Elizabeth MacLeod and her husband Kenneth of Winslow Maine, a sister Alma West of Bristol and Hebron, NH, one brother A. Winston Chase and his wife Edith of Milton, MA and Hebron, NH and several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was also the mother of the late Wayne Somersall and sister of the late Warren Chase.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Tuesday, May 24th at 2:00 P.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common.
