Obituary

TAUNTON – Karen L. (Wynn) Allsop died at Morton Hospital and Medical Center on May 15, 2016. She was 67.

Born in Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Leola (Hebard) Wynn, Jr.

Employed as a dispatcher for many years with AMR Ambulance Service, she later worked for Labor Ready as a work manager, retiring in 2011. Karen was a very loving and caring person who cared deeply about her family. She was a member of the Taunton Triad, serving as Vice-President.

Survivors include her children, Wendy Allsop of GA., Paula Allsop of Taunton, Thomas M. Allsop of Taunton, Kathleen “Pudgie” Pimental of Taunton, Regina Goslin of Taunton, Sherry Dias and her husband Frank of Taunton; one brother, Francis Wynn, Sr. of Pocasset; three sisters, Eleanor Dale of VA., Marsha Vierkant of NH., and Priscilla Cabral of Taunton; ten grandchildren, Nathan Jones, Jessica Borges, Ashley Allsop, Kyle Allsop, Koreena Goslin, Shane Allsop, Brian Allsop, Aidan Dias, Ethan Dias, and Liam Dias; three great-grandchildren, Payton Knight, Daniel “DJ” MacKinnon, and Myles Knight; many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Edward Wynn, Sr., Richard Wynn, George Wynn, Raymond Wynn, Robert Wynn, Lawrence Wynn, Jane Kulkowski, and Patricia Wynn.

Funeral services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton, on Friday, May 20th at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday May 19th from 4 to 8 p.m.
