WOONSOCKET – Thomas “Elvis of the Pearl” Pacheco, age 74 of Woonsocket and formerly of Tiverton for 40 yrs. He was the husband of Muriel (Lavallee) Archambault-Pacheco and the late Alice B. (Frazier) Pacheco. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Manuel & Delia (Raposa) Pacheco. Tom had worked part time for the Woonsocket Housing Authority as a Maintenance Man, and retired from Globe Mfg. as a Finisher and previously as a Presser for Anderson Little Mfg. Co. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, dancing, singing karaoke, doing yard work, and tinkering with his car. He was also an Elvis impersonator and avid fan. He was the “Life of the Party”.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his children: Marc T. Pacheco of Tiverton & Tracy Lynn Desrochers (husband Alan) of Somerset, Sheryl Hinkley, & Tommy Pacheco; step-children: Paul Archambault of Manville, & Michelle Abram (husband Kelly) of Lincoln, siblings: David Pacheco of Fall River & Florence Landry of CO; his granddaughter: Kristen Desrochers; step-grandchildren: Drew, Emily, Zachary, & Madyson; nieces & nephews; and his beloved cat: “Dingo”.
Following cremation, his funeral with urn will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday, May 28th at 7:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Church, Stafford Rd. Tiverton at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
