Robert J. (Grampy) Cain of Hudson, MA, passed peacefully on May 13, 2016 at the home of his daughter and son in law, Lynne and Robert Camacho of Lancaster MA surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born in Cambridge MA on December 3, 1934 to Erma Cain of Wayland, Ma.

After an 11 year battle with bone cancer, Bob is now reunited with the love of his life, Jeanne A (Delaney) Cain who passed in 2008.

Bob leaves his six children, Lynne Camacho, husband Robert (Robby) Camacho, Robert Cain, Daniel Cain, Douglas Cain, wife Tammy, Lawrence Cain, wife Maureen, and Thomas Cain, wife Cheryl; 20 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

Bob was a carpet installer for many years in MA. He and Jeanne moved to Shelburne VT and ran a Carpet supply store in Burlington, VT before retiring to New Port Richey, FL. Working part time as a traffic control officer for the Pasco County Sheriffs Dept. Bob enjoyed a simple retirement doing work he loved.
Grampy's passions in life besides his beautiful wife were playing bass in his beloved band "Spider Bridge". Bob was an avid New England sports fan especially passionate about the Red Sox. He leaves behind his best girl Mazie his cocker spaniel whom he adored. Being with family meant everything to Grampy. Anyone who knew him enjoyed his good humor and ability to "tell it like it is".
