Obituary

Maureen "Renee" (O'Malley) Stillman, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 85 years old.

Renee was born in Boston on April 15, 1931, a daughter of the late Walter O'Malley and Florence (Hanley) O'Malley. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system. Renee worked for over 15 years for the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston in their maintenance division. She enjoyed playing bingo and was dedicated to caring for her family most of her adult life.

Renee is the beloved wife of the late Melvin J. "Mel" Stillman. She is the devoted mother of Alfred Cuneo and his wife Linda of Pennsylvania, Maureen Stillman of Charlestown, Matthew Stillman of Charlestown and the late Michael Stillman. She is the loving Nana to Ryan Stillman, John Cuneo, Martha Cuneo and Nana from Boston to Joseph Cuneo, John Cuneo and Grace Cuneo. She is the beloved sister of William "Butch" O'Malley of Hyde Park and the late Walter O'Malley, Paul O'Malley, Claire Isbart, Dorothy Burroughs, Anne Marie Page, Lorraine Evers, Rosemary McGrath, Janice Dollosa-Delvalle and Joanne Hart. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Renee's Funeral on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Her burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Her visiting hours will be on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
