Richard P. Robertson, age 47, of Taunton, formerly of Stoughton passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016.
Born in Stoughton, MA on April 3, 1969, he was a son of Richard A. Robertson of Tampa, Florida and the late Diane M. (O’Donnell) Cook.
Rick grew up and was educated in Stoughton. He had most recently been employed as a Maintenance Supervisor at Concord Foods in Brockton and had previously worked as an Assistance Arborist for many years at Corcoran Maintenance.
Rick enjoyed spending time with family, and was happiest being outdoors riding ATV’s, fishing and camping at Ellis Haven Campground in Plymouth. He will always be remembered by his family and colleagues for his strong work ethics.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving and devoted daughters Colleen P. Robertson and Shannon D. Robertson both of Taunton. He was the dear brother of Michelle A. Guerra of West Roxbury, Jill M. Bradley of Whitman, Louis E. Cook of Avon and the late Timothy J. Robertson. He is also survived by his former wife Erin Koziel, 2 aunts, 3 cousins and many nieces and nephews.
His memorial service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, May 21st at 4:00 P.M. at the Taunton Funeral Home, 8 Crapo St. (Off Route 140, Tremont St.) Taunton.
Visitation will be held prior to the services beginning at 2:00 P.M. at the Taunton Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, Richard’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
