Lawler – Alice J. (Logue) of Osterville, formerly of Jamaica Plain and West Roxbury surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren on May 15, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Lawler. Devoted mother of Donna L. Cullinan and her husband Thomas of Wellesley, Robert J. Jr. and his wife Suzanne of West Roxbury, John F. X. and his wife Kathy of Milton, Janet L. Curtis and her husband Paul of Milton, William L. and his wife Suzanne of West Roxbury, Mary Alice Lawler Barrett of Holliston, and her friend Constant Poholek, David V. and his wife Elizabeth of Osterville, and the late Claire Lawler. Also survived by 28 loving grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Loving sister of Mary Snyder of Falmouth and the late Florence Healey, Rev. Louis R. Logue and David V. Logue. Loving sister-in-law of Eleanor J. (O’Hara) Lawler. Devoted daughter of the late Mabel G. (Leahy) and John N. Logue. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Alice was happiest when surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, many friends, and her dogs. Her smile, blue eyes, and sense of humor lit up every room she walked into. She was married to the love of her life, Bob, for over 50 years and practiced her Catholic faith devoutly every day. She loved to sing, laugh, bake blueberry pies and invite all she knew into her oversized generous heart.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Theresa of Avila Church, 2078 Centre St. West Roxbury on Thursday May 19, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours from The Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Wednesday May 18, from 1:00 to 9:00 PM.
Interment Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
