Obituary

NATICK: Jason Michael “Jay” Bettger, age 38, a longtime Natick resident currently of Milford, died at his home on Wednesday, May 11, 2016.

Born in Point Pleasant New Jersey, he was a son of Richard A. Bettger of Hudson and Anna L. (Galvin) Bettger of Framingham. His family lived in Island Heights NJ, prior to settling in Natick when Jason was in his teens.

Always interested in building, he was helping frame houses while still in high school. Jason started his own framing company, later branching into remodeling and finish work, areas where his creativity could shine. He could pick up any musical instrument and make a beautiful song. He could take a blank piece of paper and make it into a visual dream. He was extremely poetic and loved writing poetry and song lyrics. His talents were endless as was his love for family, friends and animals.

Jason's two most amazing qualities were passed onto his young daughters, whose company he cherished. Hannah Ryan, age 7, inherited his amazing “artistic by nature” qualities. Isabel Jae, age 5, inherited his unconditional love for all animals.

In addition to his daughters and parents, he is survived by an older brother, Eric Bettger of Hudson, an older sister, Lisa-Anne Bettger of Milford, and many loving relatives and friends.

A private memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his memory to his daughters educational fund: Hannah and Isabel Education Support Trust, 13 Bridle Path Cr., Framingham, MA 01701.
