Sharon E. (Turner) Benbenek, 68, of Dartmouth, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of Eugene J. Benbenek, Jr.
Mrs. Benbenek was born in Keene, NH, daughter of the late Arthur D. and Ernestine (Christo) Turner and had resided in Dartmouth since 1985. She had worked for the former department store Ames and later worked as a sales associate for J.C. Penney until her retirement. She loved reading, baking and her cats.
Survivors along with her husband include her 2 brothers: Arthur Turner, Jr. of LA and Peter Turner of NH; her sister: Catherine Turner of IL; along with several nieces and nephews.
The Family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the doctors and staff at Charlton Memorial Hospital for the care and support they gave to Mrs. Benbenek.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7 P.M.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
