Josefa Rosa Sabater, age 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by close friends and family on May 11, 2016 at home, after a brief struggle with cancer. Josefa, also known as Josefita or Fefa was born on March 2nd 1937 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Daughter of Maria Rosa and Braudilio Aguero. Josefa enjoyed traveling, gardening, sewing and loved cooking. In addition to raising five children, she was always collecting donations to help with the less fortunate. Loving mother of Juan Samuel De Los Santos, Carmen Diaz, Altagracia De Los Santos, Rafael De Los Santos, Jose De Los Santos and Ruth De Los Santos. Dear grandmother of Melissa De Los Santos, Dariana Diaz, Breidy De Los Santos, Samuel De Los Santos, Kirby Espinal, Jahrad De Los Santos, Xiomerkis De Los Santos, Yassyra Diaz, Yulyssa Diaz, Rafael De Los Santos Jr. and Johann Lucas De Los Santos. She is also survived by her siblings and many nieces & nephews. Josefa was an active member of the Salem Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years. Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Wednesday May 18 from 6-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the Berea Seventh Day Adventist Church 108 Seaver St. Dorchester MA 02121 on Thursday May 19 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude children hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. Interment at St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.
