Raymond E. Locke passed away at the Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers on May 12, 2016. He was 86 years old.
Raymond was born and raised in Malden, and a longtime resident of San Diego, CA. He was a United States Navy Veteran during the Korean Conflict and a radio operator for Amateur Radio WA1QLD.
Raymond was the beloved husband of 9 years to Joan M. MacIsaac and the late Jean F. (Long) Locke. He was the loving father of Judith Smith and her husband Stephen of Everett, Raymond Locke and his wife Donna A. of Gloucester, Debra Locke and her husband Dale Dodds of Temecula, CA and William Locke of San Diego, CA. Raymond was the dear step father of Steven MacIsaac and his wife Laura of AZ, Lynne Obelsky of Winchester and Diane McDonough and her husband Steven of Woburn. He was the brother of Doris Jordan of CA, Margery Livingstone of Melrose and the late Howard and Elmer Locke and Ruth Rappa. Raymond is Also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday May 16th from 11a.m.-1:00p.m. Words of remembrance will be held at 1:00p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Raymond’s memory may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.
