WORCESTER-Eleanor M. (McKeon) Niddrie, 87, of 39 Coes Pond Village, formerly of 16 Wentworth Street, died Sunday, July 10 in the Washburn House. Her husband of 51 years, Richard F. Niddrie, Sr. died in 1992. She leaves three sons, Richard F. Niddrie, Jr. of Leicester, Philip J. Niddrie and David J. Niddrie both of Worcester, a daughter, Paula A. Farrell of Greenfield, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by five brothers and a sister.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of James F. and Ella A. (Haggerty) McKeon and graduated from Commerce High School. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and its Sodality where she also served as past president and the 39er's Club at Coes Pond Village.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 12 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, July 11 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
