Anthony F. Fandetti, 69, of Franklin passed away peacefully May 10 in the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. He was the husband of Karen (DiPrete) Fandetti for the past 49 years.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, June 13, 1946, the son of the late John and Lena (Greco) Fandetti, Mr. Fandetti had lived in East Greenwich, Rhode Island prior to moving to Franklin recently.
Anthony was a self-employed businessman for over 40 years until he recently lost his brave battle to Alzheimer’s Disease.
He was a devout Catholic, who served as both Eucharist Minister and Lector through the years. His love for and dedication to his family are his greatest legacy.
He will always be loved and sorely missed.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons, Marc Fandetti of Massachusetts, Glenn Fandetti and his wife Stacy of North Carolina and Ryan Fandetti of Massachusetts.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Matthew and Stella.
He is also the brother of Domenic Fandetti of California, John Fandetti of Florida and the late Dolores Nero and Louise Klepadlo. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Monday, May 16 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main Street, Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 5-7 p.m.
