William P. “Bill” Kupchun, age 74, of Middleboro, formerly of Bridgewater and Brockton, died unexpectedly, May 9, 2016 at his home. Bill was the son of the late William P. and Josephine (Tamulevicz) Kupchun. He was raised and educated in Brockton and Bridgewater, and was a graduate of Brockton High School.
Bill was a carpenter for many years in the Brockton area and was proud to have been a 50 year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 624. He was also a member of the Bridgewater Citizens Club and Mitchell Memorial Club. Bill will be remembered as an honest man who spoke his mind, and truly enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his children Rosemary Bell and her husband Doug, William Kupchun and his wife Gail; five grandchildren Aimee and Liam Bell, Kristal Lima, Stacy and Christopher Bradshaw; great grandchildren Kayley Bradshaw and Amelia Lima; a niece Mary (Kupchun) Spear and her two children Jeremy and Margaret. He was the brother of the late Thomas Kupchun.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held on Saturday May 14, from 12 to 4pm at Bridgewater Citizens Club, 60 Hale Street, Bridgewater, MA. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Bill can be made to Rosemary Bell and sent to her home or can be dropped off at Saturday’s event at the Bridgewater Citizens Club, 60 Hale Street, Bridgewater.
