Peter J. Scola, age 55, of Methuen formerly of Medford, passed away July 9th, following a lengthy illness. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Beatrice (Busalacchi) and Peter Scola.
Mr. Scola was the former owner and operator of the Fickle Flounder Seafood Restaurant of Saugus. He enjoyed photography and was a member of the North Andover Camera Club. He also enjoyed fishing, boating and caring for his beloved pet dog “Mickey”. Mr Scola is survived by his daughters Lori Anne Scola and Lisa Sullivan both of Bolton. He is also survived by his granddaughters Gracie Ann and Hannah Sullivan. He is further survived by his brother Paul Scola of Gloucester and Wakefield, sisters, Catherine Rochon of Salem, NH, Loretta Johnstone of Pelham, NH, and two special friends, Gloria and Crystal Carolyn. He is predeceased by his sister Ann Appiani.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church 600 Pleasant St. Malden, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
