Wareham – Gloria D. (Gelinas) Wagner, 76, formerly of New Bedford and Worcester passed away May 4, 2016 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation – Forestview. She was the widow of Domingos Mello.
Mrs. Wagner was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Charles and Dora (Letourneau) Gelinas, and resided in the greater New Bedford area most of her life. She enjoyed crafts and bingo. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Susan D. Loranger and her husband, Thomas, of Wareham and Janice T. Mendonca and her significant other, Raymond Rapheal, of Wareham; 2 sons: Brian A. Gedman and his husband, Paul, of Braintree and Darren S. Mello and his partner, Joseph G. Saad II, of Dudley; 2 sisters: Beatrice O’Niel and Lillian Connors, both of New Bedford; 7 grandchildren: 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at the Sacred Heart Cemetery II on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 10 A.M.
