DUDLEY – Zenona Jadwiga (Ziemonska) Jankowska, 66, died Monday, May 9, 2016 in Harrington Healthcare at Hubbard after being stricken ill at home.
She leaves her husband of 49 years, Boleslaw Jankowski; 2 sons, Mariusz Jankowski and his wife Renata of Poland and Tomasz Jankowski of Dudley; a daughter, Malgorzata Jaskolski and her husband Jarek of Dudley; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter.
She was born and raised in Wloszczowa, Poland, the daughter of Kazimierz and Maria (Szproch) Ziemonski. She graduated from high school in Poland, and moved here in 1992.
Mrs. Janskowska was a weaver at Anglo Fabrics Company in Webster and then worked as a custodian at Nichols College. She was a communicant of Saint Joseph Basilica in Webster.
The funeral will be held Saturday, May 14, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street, Webster. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, May 13, in the funeral home.
