SPRINGFIELD – Laura R.F. Ribeiro, beloved mother and grandmother, entered eternal peace on Monday, May 9, 2016 after a brief and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She leaves her two daughters, Trudy Fernandes and her husband, John, and Carol Portelada and her husband, Manuel; her three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Daniella and David; and her sister, Leontina Francisco. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 104 Springfield Street, Chicopee, MA 01013. Her Burial will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery, 292 Hampden Street, Chicopee, MA 01013.
