MICHAEL WAYNE “MIKE” HICKS, 57, passed away on May 8, 2016.
He was a retired employee of Porter Paint, a guitarist for the band “Fast Forward”, former guitarist for the band “Personnel Only”, and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Mike loved life and his hobbies; was a former stock car driver, an avid golfer, and loved riding his Harley motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Hicks.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy (Martin ) Hicks; his sons, Shaun Hicks and Bradley Hicks; stepchildren, Andrea Barnes (Josh) and Jeffrey Gripp (Rachel); one granddaughter, his father and stepmother, Marshall and Marilyn Hicks; and brothers, Bruce Hicks (Susan) and Danny Hicks.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Thursday.
