Marlboro, MA

Deborah Ann Saari, 49, of Marlboro, former longtime resident of Hudson, died Sunday May 8th surrounded by her loving family at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center.

Deborah was born in Marlboro, daughter of the late Carl and Patricia (Garceau) Saari. She was raised in Hudson where she attended local schools and was a 1984 graduate of Hudson High School. She was a longtime Personal Care Aid and was employed by Bay Path of Marlboro until her untimely illness.

Deborah had many interests in her life but her children and family were her passion. She truly cherished spending time with her family and always looked forward to the many special events and gatherings they shared. She especially adored her grandchildren and all the joy they brought to her life. She looked forward to taking a nice trip with her many friends and Harley Davidson Motorcycle rides were always a treat. She loved going to the beach and also camping trips were some of her favorite activities. She enjoyed dancing and friends were always a special part of her life. She was full of life and her memories will be cherished by all who loved and knew her.

She is survived by her children, Melanie DiMouro of Marlboro, Blake Saari and his companion Jessica Hedrick of Las Vegas, NV and Army Specialist Sean Edwards of Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Karen Saari of Hudson; her two brothers, Paul Saari of Marlboro, John Saari of Alaska; her three loving grandchildren, Hailey, Trevor and Isabella DiMouro along with many nieces, nephews and friends. She was the sister of the late William Saari.

A funeral service and celebration of Deborah’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 11th at 12:00 noon in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com). Burial will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday May 10th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
