Maxwell Britt Appiah, Jr., 14 of 328 Greenwood St. died Thursday, July 7 in Worcester Medical Center. He leaves his parents, Maxwell B. Appiah, Sr. and Veronica A. Mensah; a brother, Rueben Appiah and a sister, Bernice Appiah all of Worcester. He was born in Aboso in the Western Region of Ghana and along with his mother and two siblings, traveled to America to be with his father in August 2002. Maxwell graduated from Sullivan Middle School on June 22 and was planning on attending South High School in September.
The funeral will be held Thursday, July 14, at 12:30 p.m. in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling Hours are Wednesday, July 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
