Bill Kozel
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, May 6, 2016, Mr. William J. “Bill” Kozel, 84, loving husband of 62 years to Georgia Kozel. Bill was born in Fairchance, Pennsylvania, and graduated from The Ohio State University with a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He worked for Amoco Oil in Chicago for 38 years.
In Augusta, Bill was a member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. Also, he was a member of the St. Mary Seniors Bridge Club and the Augusta Toastmasters. He was a coordinator at AARP Tax Aide.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include his daughters: Pamela Barbara and husband Peter of Martinez, Diane Stockman of Gurnee, IL; son: John Kozel of Martinez; and grandchildren: Kyle, Anna, Clayton, and Christian Stockman, Kathleen Barbara, and Aden Kozel. He is preceded in death by his son, Robert David Kozel.
A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
