In Taunton, May 5, 2016 John E. Rudy, Age 58, passed away in his home following a lengthy illness. John was born in Altus, Oklahoma, the son of Audrey (Grady) Rudy of Taunton and his late father Earl Rudy. John had resided all his life in Taunton. He was educated in Taunton schools where he was employed as a laborer in the construction field. John enjoyed fishing, tinkering and fixing things and he enjoyed being with his family and was affectionately called “Johnny Punkin”. In addition to his mother, John leaves his siblings Brian Ferreira and his wife Kate of Naples, FL. , Melanie “Missy” Rudy of Stewart, FL and Kevin Rudy and his wife Deborah of Naples, FL and the late Scott Rudy. John also leaves several nephews and many friends. John's family would like to thank Steward Hospice for all of there care for John. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 12th at 1 pm. at Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
