David A. Kanevski, 77, of Middleboro died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Stoughton after a brief illness. Originally of Brockton, David was a 1956 graduate of Brockton High School and successfully built a construction company servicing the local residential and business community for more than 20 years. In addition to managing a business, supporting the local community was central to David’s personality.
He enjoyed many pastimes including boating, golf, and gardening and was passionate about those around him. He cherished and enjoyed nothing more than a table full of family and friends at a Sunday dinner. With an infectious laugh and a welcoming personality – he was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
David is survived by his wife of 50 years Daphne “Becky” (Vose) Kanevski, his four children Steven Kane of Thousand Oaks, CA; Linda Kane of Surry, ME; Dyana Bogdan and her husband John and Gregory Kanevski and his wife Tara all of Mansfield, MA. He leaves his sister Kathryn Deslauriers and her husband Paul of Ware, MA; his grandchildren Danielle, Robbie, Alex, Amanda, Bobby, Julia, David, Caroline and Nick; as well as six great grandchildren.
