Carol Gay (Ransom) age 92, of Wollaston, formerly of Melrose, passed away May 4th at the Alliance Health Care in Braintree. Born in Malden, she was raised in Malden and Quincy, graduated from Melrose High School and attended Boston University. She worked as a Draftsman for Barnes & Jarnis in Boston for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and frequently attended exhibits and shows at the museum. She loved cats and enjoyed sewing, knitting, travelling, reading and jewelry making. Beloved wife of the late George C. Survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Relatives and friends invited to visit at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 am. The visitation will be followed by burial at Milton Cemetery.
