Obituary

BEVERLY: Peter M. F. Stevens, 25, died unexpectedly on April 30, 2016 surrounded by his loving family following an extended illness. Peter was born in Salem on May 30, 1990 and was a lifelong resident of Beverly, where he attended Beverly Public Schools and later worked hard to successfully earn his GED in early 2014.

Peter's first love was art. He was a self-taught artist who demonstrated an otherworldly ability to draw. He was an extremely talented young man who loved music and playing guitar. His talent was unparalleled. Peter loved spending time with his little brothers, playing video games and watching comedies. He enjoyed working as a landscaper and being outdoors. Peter was a caring, loving, giving, compassionate and sensitive young man who was always willing to help others.

Peter leaves behind his devoted parents, Lisa M. (Burke) Ross and Peter R. Stevens, both of Beverly. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Kaio and Kory Stevens; maternal grandmother, Barbara (Belanger) Yescalis: maternal grandfather, Bernard Burke; paternal grandparents, Margo (Hagerty) and Carmen Bergantino and Frank and Eula Stevens; four aunts, A.C., Jennifer (Yescalis) Standley, Candi Mann and her husband, James and Laura Bergantino; two uncles, John J Burke and Frank Dolley III and many cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Robert W. Yescalis.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, May 7th in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly from 1 – 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the New England Organ Bank, 60 First Ave., Waltham, MA 02451.
