Dennis P. Connolly, 68, of Boston, passed away unexpectedly on April 28th.
Dennis was born in Rahway, NJ, educated at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and settled in Boston as a colorist on Newbury Street for many years. He leaves his mother, Leona Connolly of Homosassa, FL, his father, the late John Connolly, his sister, the late Sandra Asmuss, and his best friend, Sam Toto of Winchester. He also leaves his dear friends, Flo and Joe Anderson of Beverly Hills, FL, Mickey Coburn of Beverly, George Dudley and Michael Vaughan of Somerville, Dorothy Chiesa of Delray Beach, FL and Dorothy and Phil Bennett of Lamoine, ME.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Mary Church, 155 Washington Street, Winchester, Monday, May 9 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Dennis’ name to the Boston Rescue Mission at www.brm.org or to the Greater Boston Food Bank, www.gbfb.org/tribute. The friends and family of Dennis wish to extend their gratitude to the medical team at Tufts Medical Center.
