Goffstown– Arline (Couture) Fredette, 86, died May 2, 2016 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a period of declining health.
She was born in Rochester on July 17, 1929 the daughter of Amedee and Beatrice (Harrity) Couture.
Prior to her retirement she was a secretary for Scovill Manufacturing.
She was married 44 wonderful years to “Freddy”, traveling and enjoying life in Florida after retirement. After Hubert’s passing on May 27, 1995 she spent 21 joyful years with Zeke, enjoying many trips to Foxwoods and shopping for her “Alex and Ani “ bracelets.
Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her.
Family members include 2 daughters, Michele Schuff, and Maureen Gilman and partner, Steven Fournier, both of Manchester, 4 grandchildren Shauna Raymond, Matthew Schuff, Kevin Lamie, Ryan Schuff, 5 great grandchildren, Dylan, Jaden, Jacob, Jackson, Chloe, her long time companion, Zeke Barrett of Hillsborough and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her two brothers, Ernest Couture and Amedee Couture Jr.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to both the A1 Unit at Hillsborough County Nursing Home as well as Merrimack Hospice.
A committal service will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum on Monday at 12:30 PM
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hillsborough County Nursing Home C./O the A1 Unit, 400 Mast Rd. Goffstown NH 03045.
